Fake. The announcer guy doesn't sound the same to me as the one heard on the E for All videos. He sounds exactly like the one from Melee.

Man, I swore off melee so I wouldn't be burnt out of Smash when brawl comes out, I wanted to be salivating for some smash when brawl came out. Like not eating when you know there is a big meal just around the corner. But now, now I'm jonesin' I'm jonesin' bad. I need some smash, it's right there next to my wii. I gotta smash...

Your guys reasons for this being fake are pretty weak. You are basing it off a comparison to the demo, which was a demo... Let's look at the facts:

1.) This character screen includes every character announced on the site except Snake and Sonic, which Coro Coro confirmed not too long ago to be the only hidden revealed characters.

2.) This is a running program. It would take a very very talented programmer to make a fake version of the Smash Bros. menu that ran, and some random Japanese Smash Bros. fan would most likely NOT be that programmer.

3.) The guy has a huge history on youtube. Why would he throw away all his accumulated credibility for one fake character screen that would be debunked a week later?

There is no logic to the argument that this is fake, other than "it's not exactly like the demo" which is a stupid argument, and I don't know what the heck you're talking about Ugg... the announcer audio at the end is so quiet and muddled that there is no way you could possibly make a valid comparison.

Yeah, I know. I called 2 Gamestops, 1 Target, 1 Walmart, and went into a Gamestop and a Toys "R" us. I'm Really Pissed off about that... I WANT NO MORE HEROES NOW!!! >_<

 In order to try to partially fufill the empty void, I took a lightsaber and started swinging it around...  ^_^

Shortfuse of SWF just contacted me and pointed out something very interesting. Here's what he had to say:

I started the "Japanese Forums" thread almost 3 weeks ago. It got some attention and was pretty popular. Gimpyfish grew interested in the way the SWF community was involved in this project of checking Japanese sites. He went to talk to a few friends who are major smash players in Japan. What happened later (and he announced on the SMYN podcast) is that he said he obtained some link to some great sites including what he though to be the Japanese Smashboards. It turned out it wasn't and the rest of the sites where just simple tournament sites. I didn't pay much attention to them. What's the correlation? Well, look at the user who uploaded the video. It's queensaki. Who is queensaki? It's none other than the webmaster of ketubato.com. What am I getting at? Yes, Gimpy friend who he said was going to have Brawl early...who hosts tournaments is the one who uploaded the Brawl video to youtube. Yes guys, it's real.

I agree very much with what he said, and it looks like this video is indeed real, using the logic explained above. 

Well, this is about as good a confirmation as it gets... The video is real (Also explains why the guy has 300+ Melee Videos)

Edit: I guess we are now even, Naz...,

 Screw that, I just got Melee in the mail from eBay, I'm gonna catch up on my Smash skills over the next month.  It'll help cure my need for Smash, since I know the Japanese will be playing the game for over a damn month before I get to it.

And after playing Melee enough, the differences between Melee and Brawl will be so much greater if it's fresh in my mind.
