And Level for the win! Well, for people who predicted level anyway.

Now that's... interesting. But... is the level itself plain?

VGChartz is unbearably slow for some reason....

Anyway...I was wrong, level update!

Update:  Smashville

Wait a second... Is this...an Animal Crossing stage?! And the name...well... Go ahead and poke fun if you must.

This should be a familiar sight to Animal Crossing fans.

It’s very clearly the world of Animal Crossing—even the changing scenery of day and night is determined by the Wii’s internal clock.

This is not the relaxing pace of any small town I know...

Hmm, it sure is dark.

And what do you think of all those guests hanging out? There sure are a lot. It’s like they all came to watch the big event.

And look, there’s the busy barista, serving coffee to the spectators.

But there’s more...

If you play a match here on Saturday at 8PM...

Oh, I’m too excited to even say it!

That’s right, a live performance. It’s a good time to be alive...

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

"Smashville."

I saw that name and thought it would be a lame Smash-themed stage.

But its the Animal Crossing stage! Complete with special events that only occur at certain times based on the Wii's internal clock!

"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."

Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.

The time feature is a definite win.

I bet they'll even do holiday specials...

If they took the time to make holidays different in an Animal Crossing stage in Super Smash Bros Brawl...that'd be amazing...so much creativity and thought in this game...

And yeah, we'll stop fighting for a concert hehe.

For future reference on predicting updates Ben, Fridays are almost always a stage, and if not a stage then a song hehe.

Around the Network

oh fine...I would think they wouldn't do a song on Fridays though...songs don't seem to hold over fans well enough.

Add that level to the list!

That last one is the one from E3.

Shrug, the music in the game has been amazing. I don't see the stages, I just imagine the music. As I've never played an animal crossing game, I actually can't think of how it will play or sound like.

Hmm, since Kazumi Totaka is one of the composers and we get live performances from K.K. (not going to try to spell his name), I wonder if we're going to find Totaka's Theme in there somehow.

I am quite proud of how large that first post is getting. Ideal is when I can't bear scrolling manually with the Mwheel, and have to resort to the side scroller. We have enough time to get there though!!!
