MIDI is not necessarily a good or bad thing. MIDI is simply a protocol for controlling music. .midi files are an awkwardly named file format for files made with MIDI alone. They usually sound like crap, like really bad old ring tones. However, in many recording studios, they can program the melodies into .midi files, then add reverb and a whole buttload of other effects until it sounds not only real, but really damn good. I've taken a few classes on this actually, and I was surprised to see how far they can go with MIDI these days.

^Honestly, I do not understand what you are trying to ask

The question of which I asked in the past

is would you like it if I joined Brawl's cast?

Does this suggestion make you happy or mad

or possibly even a little sad?

I have appeared on more than one occasion

and even on a nintendo game station.

on a portable game system though it may be

the number of times i appeared is one less than three.

I don't know about that. We already have Delfino Plaza up. You really think Sakurai will put up 2 Mario stages before they put up Norfair, Samus' first stage that will be on the site?

Oh... Jack Skellington... I get it. I thought you were introducing yourself to the site, and calling this discussions a "brawl".

Well, I'm not sure I would be all too happy with that.
I would preferred your appearance in Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2.

I take it that you have not heard of me

i don't understand how this could be!

though I can describe myself through a simple song...

There are few who'd deny, at what I do I am the best
For my talents are renowned far and wide
When it comes to surprises in the moonlit night
I excel without ever even trying
With the slightest little effort of my ghostlike charms
I have seen grown men give out a shriek
With the wave of my hand, and a well-placed moan
I have swept the very bravest off their feet

Yet year after year, it's the same routine
And I grow so weary of the sound of screams
And I, Jack, the Pumpkin King
Have grown so tired of the same old thing

Oh, somewhere deep inside of these bones
An emptiness began to grow
There's something out there, far from my home
A longing that I've never known

I'm a master of fright, and a demon of light
And I'll scare you right out of your pants
To a guy in Kentucky, I'm Mister Unlucky
And I'm known throughout England and France

And since I am dead, I can take off my head
To recite Shakespearean quotations
No animal nor man can scream like I can
With the fury of my recitations

But who here would ever understand
That the Pumpkin King with the skeleton grin
Would tire of his crown, if they only understood
He'd give it all up if he only could

Oh, there's an empty place in my bones
That calls out for something unknown
The fame and praise come year after year
Does nothing for these empty tears

I guess there is a little bit of MIDI in there: KI song, Metroid Boss Battle, Yoshi's Story.  Parts of KI are orchestrated I think underneath a MIDI track.  I can't tell for sure.

Most of it is orchestrated though. The MIDI songs are MIDI for artistic reasons. Orchestrated: SSBB Theme, OoT Medley, Star Fox Armada, Go K.K. Rider, Pokemon Stadium, MGS4, Ashley's Theme (with vocals of course).

So there certainly isn't an overwhelming quantity of MIDI and the things that are, are on purpose.

Fine then.  Ruin my dreams.  Now I predict Sonic's stage.

^We got Snake's Stage the following week. I think the Sonic stage is not too farfetched.
