Oh man, I can't wait for this game. It looks so dang awesome. I never played Melee, but I played the original. Why I didn't buy that game I will never know. What a game.

I wonder if they will keep the bonus characters from the last game. Mr. Game and Watch looked awesome. Just think if they add on to the 25 characters from the last game.

Super Smash Bros just proves to me to an even greater extent that Nintendo has the largest selection of viable and loveable franchises. I can see entire games being made from something like Kid Icarus and Meta Knight, and I could easily love them.

hmm the final smash for Kirby is a bit strange, why cooking I want more swallowing.

If we are going to use the composer list as a reference, I have to say that a Capcom character ( Megaman, Leon or Belmont) and a Square character ( Sora, the FF CC Wii guy or Crono) are the most likely, together with Sonic.
Sakurai said that only 2 more 3rd parties, but some deals may have been made since he said that.

I don't think a Square character would fit in too well...maybe Megaman though...

The conposers don't count. They have no say in the character creating process nor the actual licencing process.
