I don't think there is a 1/1,000,000 chance of an FF charcter showing up. There is only space for 1 more 3rd party character by his original statement and it sure as hell isn't going to be a moogle.

I'd expect Simon Belmont or Megaman waaay before any FF character, especially one from one of the PS titles.

I think the final new character will be one of three things:
- Viewtiful Joe
- Megaman
- Black Mage/Fighter/Chocobo from FF1

Seems like a weird selection of playable characters for that demo... No Snake? I assume the same demo will be at E4.
Actually, I most wish Lucas was in that screen, because then we might find out if he's really Ness. He did a B-move in the movie, but it didn't clear up anything. Could have been "PK Flash" or something else entirely.
Now I'm going to go to try to find some bogus analysis of how many characters could fit on that screen.

Simon Belmont would rule! Whip action, knives, axes!
Mega man would be good to if done well. the old classic 8-bit megaman, with cutman, bombman, iceman, fireman, gun abilities.
Viewtiful Joe would be great, but in reality does not work for me. He's V-watch powers are an overwhelming mismatch. He could slow down all his foes and beat the living daylights out of everybody; just too unfair. And playing as joe without his v-powers would be about as lame as all those x-men games where all you can do as an x-man is punch and kick.
Captain Olimar would be great, but he is only 6 inches tall as was pointing out to me earlier in this thread; so I wouldn't expect to see him in.
