Zero Suit Samus could be selectable from the start...that's unknown right now.

Also, "It'll be cool only if the Wii controls match or exceed the Game Cube ones."

I'm sure the Wii controls will be fine...an analog stick in the left hand, an A, B, Z, and C buttons easily accessible? That's standard attack, special attack, grab, shield...the only missing button would be a jump button, if certain people prefer pressing a button to jump. If so...I dunno...grab could be the "minus" button or something. The D controls are those quick, premade chat phrases I think.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I hardly ever used the tournament mode in Melee...but this will make some global VGChartz tourneys very easy hehe.

Oh crap I'm so there.  I've been lurking in the shadows on this web site for over a year, but now I have to say.... if Mr. Game & Watch comes back, I'm gonna cook you all up some fierce servings of sausages during a live KK Slider performance!

There's no need for a shield button, I never used it in Melee, why would I want to use it in Brawl? Give me a jump button instead.

The shield button was really important in Melee.  It was how you dodged and air dodged.  You'll get your butt kicked if you don't know how to use it right.

Rol isn't a real player. He must be destroyed with our amazing L-Cancelling, wavedashing, and teching in brawl.

There was a jump button in melee and the shield is great when you learn how to use it right. I hate when you press up and accidentally jump, eg with Link when you are about to send someone to hell with his sword-spin. So I hope for no jump on up-button, but since this game has customizable controls that won't be a problem, I hope.

My Wii-mote and Nunchuk idea:

A: same as in Melee
B: same as in Melee
Control Stick: same as in Melee (option to turn jumping off)
D-pad: jump
-: Taunt
+: Pause
C: shield
Z: grab
1: NOTHING!!!
2: NOTHING!!!
motion: nothing
pointer: used in menus

Anyone like my Wii-Mote and Nunchuk controller idea?

I like Gamecube controllers... :) Though your scheme seems good. But I think I'll stick to the GC controller.
