Maybe you should have looked the the numbers before making claims. Aninmal crossing only gets close to Smash's sales because Wild World sold almost 5 million in Japan alone. But Europe got 1.99million where Smash had 1.08. So it's hardly safe to say "Europe sees AC as bigger then Smash" as it would be opinion. Also remember that Brawl has been on the Japanese most wanted list sop they very well may say Smash. But you can't deny how powerful a franchise is when it's only two games have both broken 5million sales.

And a franchise that can sell 5M in Japan ALONE is less powerful? Show some objectivity here.
Of course I looked at the numbers; I could tell you that AC has outsold both Smash games combined in each Japan and Europe.
