Man...I was sure it'd be an item...and I was SERIOUSLY going to guess Hammer. But then I guess even then I'd be wrong.

Interesting feature with the floating in air thing....kinda solves the problem of not being able to get around with the Hammer though.

I think the squeaky hammer is a "fake" hammer. Maybe made of rubber or something -> Making no damage.

Wasn't the hammer in Melee so strong many people opted not to use it? An even stronger one makes absolutely no sense.

With regards to video game references, the only one I could find was a Golden Hammer in Harvest Moon 64.  Not a Nintendo franchise, but still a Nintendo game.  

There are Golden Hammers in all Harvest Moons. It's not a game item, just a new item.
