Forums - Nintendo - Game Reactor rumor - Shenmue I and II head to Wii

Do yourself a favor and DL a torrent of the game......Play the first disk then buy the full game on the wii.

I'll look into it, I'm tired of looking for a working copy of this game. I guess used game places don't test copies of their DC games anymore...don't blame 'em.
Also some more news on this, a user on IGN asked the staff on the podcast if they knew anything about it and they said they would have to look into it. So perhaps some news will be on IGN about it in the coming weeks.

Currently playing: Okami (Wii), The World Ends With You (DS), and Shenmue (Dreamcast)

If this happens I'm going to have to get a Wii. The Shenmue games are the only games that I would literally buy any console for regardless of what I thought of it.

I hope that this is true. I would prefer a new Shenmue but would still love a port of the original. The game is that good. With all of the success that Brawl has had, why doesn't Sega make a new Powerstone for Wii? I know. I'm greedy.

Are you sure you wouldn't want run to simply be wave your arms around like a lunatic. Perhaps you could even get the balance board in on the act.

Powerstone was made by Capcom.

Yeah but Sega could still make one since Brawl was so popular.

I stand corrected. Capcom could make it then.

Shenmue seems a perfect fit for the Wii. I never played the original, but this could be good news for Nintendo, Sega, and the Wii.

They may even finally have the motivation to finish the series, which as I understand it, is one of the biggest upsets in gaming history--the poor sales and loss of Shenmue.

Assuming some of us want unintuitive motion controls? Isn't that a form of fanboyism?
