Didn't they get the memo? This game will sell peanuts next to shitty Carnival Games sequel.

I expect me and like 6 other people buy it, like with Okami and No More Heroes.

Now you are trolling yet again.

But you know something? He's right. I was one of those people that actually bought No More Heroes. And I will be buying MadWorld when it comes out next year.

Do you wanna know why no more heroes didn't sell. It was on a low budget. This meant not enough money for advertisement, and not too many wii owners knew about it. The same could be said for Zack& WIki. He is saying it as if the userbase is why the games didn't sell well.

Not enough colorz. Typical dark, depressing "next-gen" game. :|

j/k :P

Looks great to me. The first thing I thought of when watching the trailer was NMH, but it looks way cooler and the combat seems far less repetitive.

ahahha caution sign kill thats a classic :) ...hope this comes out soon I miss ripping peoples hearts out since mortal kombat.

Yeah, because Carnival Games had so many ads. I didn't even know the game existed until I saw people using it as an example of casual games that sell well on the Wii. No More Heroes was all over most websites and was the only decent Wii game released for months, and yet... But hey, I loved Viewtiful Joe and Okami so I expect big things from this developer. They are also making a PS3/360 game. Maybe that one will be non-violent for irony. I need to find that trailer...

As a person who values substance very greatly over style, I'm not sure this will be my cup of tea. From the little we know, it looks like a generic brawler (kill the bad guys. Use the environment and items around you to assist) that has oodles of pinache, which just isn't my bag. It's entirely possible I'm wrong, and that this game has loads of creative gameplay in addition to the style, but based on first glances, I'm not impressed.

It's interesting seeing this genre of hyper-violent games being born on the Wii.

Manhunt 2, No More Heroes, now Madworld

Alot of talented developers seem to find a sort of humor in this form of artistic expression.

THANKFULLY SEGA ACTUALLY ADVERTISES FOR THEIR GAMES WHICH WILL GIVE THIS GAME A HUGE ADVANTAGE OVER NO MORE HEROES!

Carnival Games had a lot of TV ads actually.

Why do people keep saying 3rd party games don't sell on the Wii? Those that don't sell are the ones with 1% advertising. You think putting your game on websites is going to be a great advertisement? It'll be alright, but you think every person who sees the websites will actually buy the game. Not many people search the webs like us and look up reviews and stuff.

Carnival games is a game catered for mass appeal along with pick up and play control. MadWorld is an adult-oriented game with a niche look. It will probably have a learning curve longer than 5 minutes don't you think?

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

This is much off topic but I'm wondering, similar to how March, April and May all seem to be 1st party goodness months does that mean were due in for 3rd party goodness months?

I'm Unamerica and you can too.
