I think it appeals to both the core and casual owners of the wii.

It depends how interactive it will be. But with the brand name alone it could sell at least 4 million copies. Look at Big Brain Academy.

Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree is at 2.33 million right now, haven't seen sales lately but don't think it will reach 3million (unless Nintendo releases a player's choice edition that cost 20$)

Nintendogs could have the same sales and still the profit coming from it would be huge, so of course it is worth developing. Even if it sells only just 1 million there will be a big profit, but it's guaranteed to sell more than that!

No. In realtiy, there would not be the same paradigm shift as there was with the DS market. Nintendo needs something fresh to keep that crowd interested, not just another version of the game.

While the game would be successful, it would not reach anything near DS levels and I very highly doubt it would carry that type of legs either. Nintendo needs a separate identity for Wii.

It might sell 2-3 million if there is DS connectivity between the two games. It would actually be pretty cool.

i don't think they're make it for the Wii. it's more of a handheld thing--you need to pet your dog every day, maybe more often than that.
