The USA Today artical about Miyamoto "Designer Miyamoto makes video games pulse with life" mentions that his next project is Wii Music.

Miyamoto, who plays piano and banjo, hopes with Wii Music to create "an experience where people who can't play music can enjoy the experience and the joy that people who can play music get out of it."

Any ideas what this game will entail. Rock Band rip off????? Wii Piano? Wii Banjo?!?

Last years peek was an orchestra, but I imagine it will have a bit of everything.

The next Wii accessory?

Miyamoto is a personal hero of mine and usually very innovative but this smells like a Guitar Hero rip-off. I hope that I'm wrong,

I think Nintendo know that this could be one of their next HUGE titles. They will not release this until it is as innovative and fun as Wii Sports. I think what we have seen so far is just a hint of what this game will eventually become.

I've heard of this title since the Wii launch, so I don't think it's a GH rip off. I realize GH came before the Wii, but it wasn't quite the success it is today back then. I have a hunch that Wii music will be much more educational than GH or RB.

This will not even be close to Guitar Hero.

i'm hoping there'll be a portion where it's almost like MMO... everybody gets to be part of an orchestra and following the lead of a conductor.

although that doesn't seem to be very much fun other than the first few times through.

Well, at E3 we saw the orchestra and maybe that a clue what it will become, i'm not that hyped about this game but could become as good as Wii Sports or.. even more?
