this news doesnt bother me at all. im looking forward to what the game has to offer.

9 hours of cutscenes? Well, there is a reason I don't want this. Because my school day is shorter than that. Longer dude? I'd kill myself.

The fact of the matter is, this game could have 60 hours plus of actual gameplay and people would find a reason to complain about it. And by the reverse this game could be nothing but cutscenes with no gameplay what-so-ever and people would still find a reason to act like it will be the best MGS ever.

Let the game and its reviews speak for themselves when it comes out. ;)

21 hours of gameplay = great, i think most good games take 20-30 hours to complete.
9 hours of cinematic = anoying, cinematics are ok in small quntities.

sounds fine to me, anyone who doesn't enjoy kojima scripted cut scenes is obviously buying the wrong game if they buy this, or any MGS game. those of us that enjoy them are going to love MGS4.

Anyone wanting to skip cut scenes in a game like this is just missing 75% of the enjoyment of the game.

Please go and play some of the games Shio mentioned. Deus Ex is a triumph of gaming.

Im sure MGS4 is going to be a great game. But I think its time Kojima just admitted he wants to be a film director!

Also, don't forget Sony was really pushing for there to be a game to make full use of Blu-Ray's capacity and Kojima boasted he wanted to be one of the first developers to do so, thus it may not be too hard to figure out why this game has so much cinematics and uncompressed data.
