Go with the 360. I won't say why, just do it.

Great screens, by the way. I'm really looking forward to this game a lot.

Oh, I didn't realise you were in the know. Tell me, what advantages does the 360 version have over the PS3 version. Of course, you won't say, so I'll just take your word for it, go out, and buy it for the 360 because you said so.

Protip for you, smart guy - I wasn't recommending that YOU buy a 360, so spare me your snappy comments.

EDIT: Guess I might as well tell what advantages I see with the 360-version though, since you asked so ... kindly. Let's see, the OP asks which one he should buy, and one is cheaper than the other. He didn't say he was leaning more to either side, so I can only assume that he isn't, and therefore, wouldn't the cheaper choice of the same exact game be more satisfying? I don't know. What do you think?

I wouldn't need you reccommending it to me, seeing as I already own one.

a) Just because he didn't specify anything doesn't mean you should assume. He didn't specify whether he wanted to getthe console first or second hand, so I'll just assume he will get it second hand where he (may) find a better deal from the PS3's side.

b) If you look at the games in his profile you'll see that he prefers RPGs/Third-person "platformers" to other game genres. Genres which, inevitably, will be stronger on the PS3 than on the 360.

Seriously, why are we even arguing? Was it THAT big of a deal that I said "Buy a 360"? I don't think he'd react "OMG this one guy says I should buy a 360 now I have to do it", right? Why are you so hung up on throwing a hissy fit, really?

But, so you can't say "Omg you can't counter what I said PWNED":

a) Keyword: May.

b) Looking at the games one has in their game list doesn't mean they automatically like all those games, just that they owned them. I have several in my collection I down-right regret buying, but I have a policy to not sell games that I've bought. On another note, even if a person likes every single game in his game collection, it doesn't mean he automatically likes, say, FPS-games more than all other games just because he happens to have more FPS-games than other games. For example, my favorite genre is Fighting, but you won't find more fighting-games than any other games on my profile. Atleast I think not.

You must be insane to hate on Resident Evil.

''Hadouken!''

That guy on the right is white!  This game is racist towards white people!

Ahem...anyway...
The screens look good...it's certainly an interesting art direction.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Just so you guys know, in japanese on the pic it says that new trailer is coming soon.

I'm excited about this game, but i'm a little bit worried because they lost the original creator of the series.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

@Kingofwale:

No, RE is far too hardcore for the haters.

somehow I don't think that will stop the haters. ;)

if the game gets close to certain "Games of all time" title in term of review scores, you will see hell breaks loose.. in fact, you will see more people using the "racial" card again. *sighs*

Yes, I predict that, feel free to bring what I'm saying now to the release of the title.

Depends how bugged and glitchy it is while getting those scores *sigh*

Guys, guys... calm down please

I'm flattered that you're fighting for me though....(lol)

Majin: thanks for the advice
Samuel: Cool to check my games, I do love RPG's. But... I see a lot of RPG's on 360 and virtually none on PS3 (that are released that is). Also in the unreleased games I see lots of great 360 games.
If I wasn't such a big Final Fantasy fan my choice was very easy.

Well, IF you decide to buy a 360 I definitely recommend Lost Odyssey as an RPG, and whichever console you buy I recommend Assassin's Creed, Devil May Cry 4 and GTA IV even though they aren't RPGs :P

I can see why it's a hard choice. 360 has a lot of good rpg's and more to come. But if you really like Final Fantasy then you can only get it on PS3. Good luck with your choice making.
