 oh great, another lining up for me. I had to fight through pregnant mom and kids to get rockband last year (which I sold for a profit), not literal speaking, of course.

 

I've been wanting to get rockband, now looks like I am going to wait for GH4, Geez, if my GH would actually work with Rockband, I wouldn't have done so.

4) PROFIT! 

As for why it's still called Guitar Hero, brand recognition. Just like Mario Kart which now has bikes and more car like vehicles, or Metroid whose titular creature aren't the focus in the more recent games, and Final Fantasy never being Final. =P

Why? Because Guitar is the Protagonist, Vocal & drum are Deuteragonist.... I believe the next title for Guitar Hero will call 'Guitar Hero IV: Rockband'. And where is the Keyboard???

Ugh.

I would be hopeful for this but #1: I doubt the instruments will be compatible with each other

#2: I already bought Rock Band

#3: Guitar Hero's DLC sucks.

I do not like this battle of the bands. It's leading to exclusive music deals (Aerosmith is just the beginning), it's too expensive to get both bundles, and I don't want to change discs.

At least I have a reason to be interested in my next issue of Game Informer...*sigh*
