Forums - Sales - EA got more sales last quarter from the PS3 than the 360

Very surprising since the 360 is "software king" presumably this is worldwide   http://kotaku.com/390211/yup-the-ps2-is-still-buttering-eas-bread

The PS3 number can't be right... it doesn't make sense.

Unless someone can convince me that EA sold more PS3 software during Jan-April 08 then they did during Sept-Dec 07...

Look at all the other consoles and how they performed compared Q3 to Q4, those are normal drops after the holiday season

PS2 indexed at 55%
360 indexed at 65%
Wii indexed at 54%
PC indexed at 77%
PSP indexed at 93%
DS indexed at 29%

But the PS3 software performed at 149%!! Its .... bizarre...

Or maybe it shows that 360 owners had other decent stuff to buy whereas PS3 owners didnt.   In fact that is exactly what it must show seeing as 360 software sales where much higher during that same period across all publishers.

So 360 owners spent money elsewhere... ps3 owners didnt.  You cant argue with logic and facts.

Just get over the fact that the ps3 is coming up PASS the 360 and when this keeps happening say good bye to any 360 excusive as they will be on ps3.... take mass effect 2 for example.......

PSP is also ahead of the DS :D

 What is your problem?
The numbers you listed are for Q4 2008 of EAs fiscal year which is the same as most companies (Jan-March 2008)

In the OP table it shows the same numbers in the column for Q4 2008.
