Platinum would probably be suitable for a Pokemon game that has all the 4 regions (if they do decide to make one)

Yeah, Serebii had the scan up a couple days ago. The rumored information is that:

# Volkner no longer gym leader of Sunyshore City
# The Underground is now Wi-Fi enabled
# An island called Battle Island, works in the same manner as the Battle Frontier
# Several new Pokémon 'forms' exist in the game; Giratina's Origin Form, Regigigas' Sky Form, Shaymin's Another Form

Also, it's confirmed Platinum. The Japanese word on the box is "Platina" which is the common Japanese word for Platinum.

I hope in the next pokemon games they change the battle field to be similar to xd or coliseums.

I totally second that.  Despite being on DS/Wii the current Pokemon is just like it was in GBA/N64 days.  What's up with that.  There's no reason online coliseum type battles couldn't be done on DS (except they rather push you to buy a Wii game too).

On reason is that a lot of people (me) would rather look at great detailed 2D models than ugly deformed 3D models.
