I may be blind, but all I got out of that hype job was:

1) There's a boatload of product placement in MGS4.
2) Assuming that the 40 minutes shown were all gameplay and no cutscenes/codec conversations, the game has roughly 8-10 hours of gameplay. And probably another 30 hours of cutscenes/codec moments - this is a MGS game, after all.
3) Jade Raymond is apparently hawt.
4) Surprisingly, the game will have a huge global launch.

I'm not bashing the game or anything, but I don't think you can call MGS4 Game of the year just based on that.

Not just their Walkman business, they are dismantling their phone business right now. Also, most people don't realize that Sony had a flat iMac like computer long before Apple did.

Unless it predates 1997, no they didn't.
