Probably would have stuck with my Xbox until prices came down. Which one? Don't know. The 360 has better games but is unreliable and the PS3 is lacking games at the moment but has some games in the future I might be interested in like GT5. Might of waited for the PS3 when it hit a price about the same as the Wii is at the moment.

Well I had PS2 GC at launch last gen... but kinda stopped playing consoles in 2004, only refresh my PS2 library in 2006-7 and to pick up the Wii end 2007.

So if there was no Wii I would probably be PC only still.
And when the prices would have dropped, I'd have picked up a PS3 (cause i have no doubt that if it were not for the Wii, the PS3 would have a much larger support in japan and in general, making it a lot better than the 360).
With the current situation though, I haven't decided if I'll go Wii360, WiiPS3 or just the Wii

I would have gotten a PS2. This system has a few games I've missed out and that I need to play. And a few of them apparently don't work on any PS3, so the PS2 is the only way to go. Also, it's hard to be truely hyped about MGS4 on PS3 when you haven't played MGS2 or MGS3 as the story is quite important in those games.

I'm still planning to get one to go along with my Wii, but I already have too much games to play. I guess I should hurry though as the PS2 games I want are starting to get harder to find and getting more expensive.

I was also interested in a news about a newer PS2 model coming out in Japan (the SCPH-90000 series), a lighter model and coming with new "colors" (including a Ceramic White which would have been nice to go with the Wii). Unfortunately, there was no news after that, so no news of it ever coming to Europe. I don't think I should hope it ever comes and stop waiting. Or maybe I should go on my game hunt first and get the system later on.

I owned both the other consoles and sold them, so I don't know where I fit in.

I would have bought a PS3 if there was no WII.

I have a young family and the WII is really the only fun and suitable one for my Kids.

I have spent more on a WII that I would have on a PS3 as I have 4 Wii-Motes, 2 Nuchucks, a clasic controller, Wii Fit, Wiimote Charger, 11 games (some are rubbish, so started renting games), oh and a load of plastic clip-on bats.

Still probably get a PS3 for the Blu-ray and a lazy way to play games, when BC comes back to the UK and DS3 arrives.

I probably would of bough a PS3 by now if there was no wii. I might still eventually, but not for several more years, if ever. Not interested in 360 at all.

Hmmm, I think I'd have to agree with you like completely. I don't really care for microsoft^^; I mean, I don't care if people like them, but the PS3 interests me more. I'm glad I have a Wii though. I enjoy it^^;


that pretty much sums it up. ps3 good exclusives massively outnumber the 360's exclusive and have alot more range, as in they are not all first person shooters.



the nintendo wii will outsell the ps3 and the 360 combined by the end of 2008.                           

        PS3 will out sell the 360 june 2010.                                                                      

  GOTY of 2008 is super smash brothers brawl.... hopefully.

I gave up on the tally but it does seem that Wii brought quite a few people into gaming, back into console gaming for this gen or into this gen earlier than they otherwise might have.

Also much of the Wii-only crowd seem to be considering a PS3 down the line, so perhaps there is some truth in the doomsday claims that Wii is just going to die suddenly and the PS3 is going to rise to stardom............NOT!(read with Borat's accent)
