I gave up on the tally but it does seem that Wii brought quite a few people into gaming, back into console gaming for this gen or into this gen earlier than they otherwise might have.
Also much of the Wii-only crowd seem to be considering a PS3 down the line, so perhaps there is some truth in the doomsday claims that Wii is just going to die suddenly and the PS3 is going to rise to stardom............NOT!(read with Borat's accent)
