Bets with Conegamer:

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

@Pichu
yeah, where's Pokemon?

You're right Riachu, but it's also an SRPG which have a hard time getting any real popularity. Looking at the list the only SRPG I see is Tactics Ogre, which I've heard is almost the perfect SRPG.

edit: but thank you for the reminder.  I often forget that Japan already has some games that aren't over here in the states yet.

 core gamers are the ones voting on the poll so that pretty much explains it

Pokemon is hardcore only see first week sales, are better than the lifetime sales of many in the list.

this is a temporarily all time top list, look at some games, it will change in a year, some will stay, but it shows the hype of the day..

''Hadouken!''

you ask didn't people hate FFXII in Japan, but didn't Famitsu gave it a 10/10/10/10, perfect score? I'm quite sure it did..

"ZOH NOEZ, THE LIST IS GARBAGE, NOT ENOUGH NINTENDO GAMES!!!"

In reality, 90% of the games on that list are very good. The only problem is that many of them came out very recently, and some of them make absolutely no sense given the sales of the game.

 I don't mean the reviewers, I meant the gamers that had not graduated yet(exaggeration).  FFXII was a very controversial game when it was originally released there

yes of course, famitsu is not 'the' japanese gamers, but still.. but I don't know if many japanese ' hate it' ... maybe.. I really don't know.. i would understand it though..
