If a remember correctly in their top 10 PS3 games of 2007 they didn't put a number 10 because they said there hasn't been 10 good PS3 games in the year.

 Saying the site should be shut down is stupid.  Gametrailers has the best and biggest videos compared to other sites.  You can hate their reviews and comparisons and consider them biased, but it's still the best place to watch new trailers and gameplay videos.

 They should definitely be sued.  Misrepresentation of that sort, continuous, which could have effects on sales trends, can be grounds for ahem..equitable redistribution of wealth.

Perhaps accidently using the same clip, yes, but dumbing one of them down, you cannot explain that.

So you can be absentminded enough to mislabel the video as being from the wrong system, but not absentminded enough to miss the fact that it has a visual tell if you're doing it on purpose? 

I have to say, though, if this was intentional it is terribly lazy on GT's part.  Can't even be bothered to get the undoctored footage from the system they obviously love to pieces?  I doubt that the 360 version looks that much worse.

Well, if you're trying to mislead someone, I would hope you would be smart enough to actually look at the screens you're editing to see if there are visual cues that would expose your doctoring.
