It's entirely obvious that you've never played any Suikoden, you don't know what you're saying, and you're talking because it's free. Suikoden, along with MegaTen are the two most radically "different from the norm" series of RPGs created.

Stories in the Suikoden games have always been complex political struggles between nations, inner rebellions in a country, coup d'etats. You never save the world, there are no evil guys trying to destroy the planet, just people doing what they think it's in the best interest for their country.

The cast of characters is increidibly huge (you cant recruit in every game 108 characters) and diverse, and almost everyone one of them has a important background, as do every enemy you face

So inform yourself before insulting Suikoden. Thanks

If they started releasing the older PS1 rpgs I always loved without any changes on PSN, I'd buy a PS3 for sure. Wild Arms being available on its own is almost enough to convince me, so.. depends on what else they release in the future.

Oh, and I love JRPGs because.. well, I love them. Doesn't mean you or others have to or anything. I don't personally enjoy or care for FPS games, but I accept that people like them of course.

Maybe Konami is that rumored Japanese dev who is releasing the older PS1 titles.

my 3rd favorite RPG of all time, the 1st being suikoden 2. The PS2 versions simply don't compare.

Never played any Suikoden but I've heard good things.

Sony need to release more classics on PSN (there are many great PS1 games I never got round to playing due to me being a kid and not having money) and even down to Sega classics (Wii and 360 has Sonic, where's the PS3 versions?)
