My gf's birthday is on Monday and she would like a ds. She wanted one during christmas but I did not buy it because i heard there would be a new version coming. Now I hear maybe at E3.

What do you guys think? I am leaning to just buying it because there are a ton of games and she still loves playing with the ps2.

The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.

Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.

Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.

I'm not sure if there's a new one coming out, but I heard rumours of a redsigned DS a while back though. I say just buy her one now. the DS is great and has a lot of really good games so I'm sure she'll be happy with it.
