essentially, the makers of such classics as Ninja Bread man and Kidz sports are working on a game called Battle Rage: Robot wars, that appears to be a multiplayer centric 3rd person shooter/fighter that doesn't look like an N64 game.

Hopefully these images will embed (I can never get IGN to embed), if they don't go to the article and look at them.

for the record, I'm not saying this is something to be excited over, just curiously non-sucky compared to previous efforts. Maybe they are using shovelware profits to try and make a legitimate game, I dunno.

Not much is known about it at this point, except it seems curiously small (8 robots, 20 weapons, 10 levels), and it doesn't look like complete ass. Maybe they are going for a decently fun 30-40 dollar multiplayer game, instead of a 20-30 dollar crap fest. If it's online, and doesn't suck, it might be good <---obvious statement.

it will probably be buggy as hell, and incredibly generic, it's just funny that they went from god-awful late gen N64 quality crap, to something that looks good for a wii game.

This is strange you know. The screenshots are 800x600, but I can't seem to find a PC version. And the developer.... yeah, it's that developer. I'm sure the Wii can do that graphics... but done by those people, and the 800x600 screens... I'll be cautious.
