3/ Alan Wake is not for 08
4/ Splinter Cell has some potential, I agree with rocketpig
5/ Wipeout HD
6/ maybe Alone in the Dark.

I'm really hoping that this game will be good. Unfortunately, I'm fully expecting it to suck.

I wouldn't entirely count out Too Human, though. Silicon Knights is a good developer... It's just a matter of whether they could get over the continual delays of this title and make it work or whether they're just trying to get the damned thing out the door at this point.

I just did & I fully believe its possible..

everything we have seen screams out innovation an >>oblivion WHICH was a brilliant game in its own right...winning a few GOTY's BTW..

not to mention Fallout is a highly acclaimed franchise + Bethesda great devs.

the combination is perfect..

Unless you played the earlier Fallout games. Then what Bethesda is doing to the franchise absolutely sickens you.

I haven't but all the previews say its the best direction the franchise could go in & the general response from people who have been shown it is phenomenal...little could go wrong here RocketPig...

 Valve bought Turtle Rock Studios.  So it got delayed til November.  It'll be polished and amazing though.
