If they are good gamers will buy both, to me like many fight fans tekken and Soul are worlds apart. Its like Gran turismo and Burnout, two way differant games well thats how many look at Tekken and Soul.

Good gamers will buy both? Isn't that...  a little general? Do good gamers buy Wiis?

I would love to see Soul Calibur franchise on PSP. After success of Tekken DR I hope Namco will consider also this title. With pretty easy combo system it would suit much better to PSP's d-pad.

I'd love a mobile Soul Calibur, as well. That would definitely be a game worth picking up.

Its makes perfect sense, violent mature games don't sale all that well on the wii. And seriously enough with the myth that a wii version is needed to make it profitable. Plenty multi platform games sale the worst on the wii. If the engine is state of the art for next gen it wont wok on the wii, so they will have to waste time and money to downgrade and all that to sale the least doe snot make financial sense. Maybe they will make a Wii/PS2/PSP version, now that would make financial sense.

Er... you do know that Red Steel sold 1 million copies on the Wii, without even being a GOOD violent game right?  The only PS3 game to outsell that is Resistance and it only sold 1.39 million.  Judging by the difference in quality between the games and the small difference in sales, there is a HUGE opportunity for violent Wii games.

I'm sure graphics was a big concern for Namco when they put Soul Calibur III on the PS2.

Uh... SC III was a last gen sequel, the difference between PS2 and Xbox conpared to the diffference between Wii and 360/PS3 is miles and miles apart.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

Yes, good gamers buy Wiis.  They will purchase at least 2 (and I don't mean 360 + PS3 with no wii) if not all 3 of the new systems...  Now that's a good gamer.

A bad gamer will only get a PS3 or only get a 360.

Now all be good gamers and get all the systems and all the games...  ;)

I don´t get why people think that the fact tha SC Legends is on Wii is a sign that the main game won´t be on it. Someone that gets SC Legends, and likes it, will probably be interested in a game which features the same characters. Someone who plays SC 4, and likes the game, may be interested in playing SC Legends. It´s more less like someone who plays Smash Bros may become interested in playing some games of the franchises. A few friends and myself got interested in Fire Emblem because of SSBM. Namco may choose the 360/PS3 way if the want to show a SC with nex-gen graphics, but if they go for the profits way, SC4 on Wii may be a lot better idea. GC sales of SC2 support that idea, as well as the chance of some Nintendo cameos. Oh, and they can just put 2 control schemes, as other games such as MK and I thibk Guilty Gear will do.

would be very nice to get a motion controlled wii-version

Not happening, but the Wii is getting the Soul Calibur adventure game, Legends, a consolation prize for Nintendo fans cause the next SC will probably be high graphics...

Oh so you're basically saying that the WII is beneath a Soul Caliber 4 right?

The contempt of some really make me sick.
