Yes, the missions get far more involving. Depending on how you like to play, missions have taken me nearly 2 hours. But then, I'm a very defensive player who likes to move every unit up.

and the pig doesn't get the spotlight for much longer.

well i know I like strategy games, and one of my favorite games of all time is turn based (brigandine for PS1), but I can't say I've ever played a tactical shooter

The pig is the worst thing that came out of VC and feels completely forced. While they won't be having pork chop with bacon breath it really doesn't play much of a role after it gets introduced (thank god) and by late game its disregarded completely.

Things begin heating up around mission 7-8 (Forgot which) but essentially the dessert scenarios has a good climax. Word of warning, what you're playing now is piss easy, the hard mode skirmish is alot harder the ex-hard dlc felt like pissing blood if you don't exploit. (It was worth it though!)

Good.

As soon as I'm done with Lost Odyssey I'll jump on this, whole hog.

It's really hard to say.

Do you enjoy anime? If you do, then Valkyria Chronicles will probably be the better pick. If not, then go for Fire Emblem.

You're in for quite a treat. The two JRPGs this generation, in my opinion. (and back-to-back!)

I'm on Chapter 11 now, I believe.

Skirmish..... 5? I think it's Skirmish 5. I got an A rank on 10B, so I figured it'd be easy to go in and get it on Skirmish 5. I missed it! I got a B. Now I want to go back and get an A.

Man, grinding for experience and gold is easy in this game. I'm doing it, and I don't even mean to!

You shouldn't grind too much or game will be too easy and not challanging.

Imho doing each skirmish once is good enough for level uping (maybe more if you score lot of C in missions)

Oh, I've only done each skirmish once apiece. I just enjoy them, and would like to replay them at whim.

Going into chapter 11, most of my classes are level 9. My shocktroopers are level 11, though, because I wanted flamethrowers.

Outside of extra weapons, how does having an Elite class benefit you?
