Fable 2 will not be as good as Final Fantasy 13.

Fable on XBox was a terrible game. 

But FFXIII won't be out this year. In any case, as games they are largely incomparable.

Fable was released when Xbox had been out for 3 years. Same with Fable 2, it will be released when Xbox 360 is 3 years. Fable sold 2.6 million.

Fable 2 will become a huge success.

* X360 has larger userbase than Xbox.

* it's a better game. Fable had the right idea, but was a little flawed. The sequel will implement the ambitions.

* this is the era of Western RPGs (look Oblivion). Not so many people like J-RPGs any more.

Fable 2 sells at least 4 million copies. And systems.

The RPGs I have played are FF X, X-2, XII, SO 3, KH 1 + 2 so how does this compare to those in terms of gameplay

 The rpgs you played are Jrpgs. Fable is a WRPG. Go buy a WRPG such as morrowind or baldur's gate, then we can compare.
