I agree starcraft its not dead and maybe in two years the PS3 will catch it! then it will be dead or just a low end system when the 720 comes out! console life cycle shorten and it becomes a customizable endevor! I hope not. who really knows???
The 360 has improved significantly in comparison to hardware sales this time last year. PS3 has improved a lot more, a 10 fold increase on sales from last year.

but its more than posible that the near 100k MORE consoles sold on ps3 this week were ps2 owners!
either way no matter how you try to spin it, sony won this week. THE ONLY reason microsoft shifted more copies of the game is because they are in a temporary 6 million lead due to a year head start.
this will all change shortly early 2009 or mid 2009

It is nice to have some people actually read and understand the thread.
Of the multitude of people in this thread bashing me, only one or two bothered to read the OP and respond to it.
Thankyou to you and people like Snowwhitesdrug and final-fan. I don't mind being disagreed with.
Others just came in here desperate to protect their preferred console. If they had read the OP, they would have found that there was no criticism of the PS3 at all, only a set of positive points for MS and the Xbox 360.
