Nintendo is keeping stats on your wii. They know how many people's wii are full. Right now it's not an issue for many. That will change with wiiware...

Nintendo actually is the only company to blame because they need to update the Wii to allow use of an external storage device. Granted, third party developers and publishers could be bitching to them more often to get them to make the damn update, but Nintendo is the one to blame on this.
I have about 1200 blocks left but planing to have less when next Monday rolls around.

Im down to my last few blocks, after I downloaded the Nintendo Channel, but I have a Sd card handy, I think they'll announce a storage solution this E3
im out of memory, and it wouldn't be so bad if the process didn't take soo long to save it to the sd card, then delete it off of the system memory, i just dont understand why they wont allow you to save and play the games directly off the sd card, its just that simple.

SD cards for the Wii are shit
no matter what brand you get and what "speed writing ability" it still takes maybe 2-3 minutes per game save file to save onto the SD card from the Wii. If you write a VC game onto an SD card it takes longer than 3 minutes on average.
Just give us a fucking update to play things off the SD card. Maybe then I will be ok with the horrendous write/read times.
I'm only at around 400 blocks right now, but I'm not worried, since there are SO many obvious hints that they're working on something.
-In Brawl, when you first load the game a message pops up that clearly says: "Currently", you can't save videos longer than 3 minutes." Now, what could that mean?
-It would kill 95% of WiiWare and Pay-to-Play sales if consumers have nowhere to put the new data.
-Iwata stopped just short of saying that one was in development, and mentioned that he's very concerned about the people running out of space.
So, in conclusion, read my sig.
People we will need more space with WiiWare.
Final Fantasy CC: MLaaK alone takes almost 300 blocks and Dr. Mario ~90.
This IS gonna be a problem sooner or later.
