the environments looks cool(i like the light engine),,,they said the 60 MP(multiplayer)was really fun experience for them.

Trees move by wind/players movement which is another plus

"certain players may have "2X" or "3X" hovering above their character. This means a character is on a streak, and if you take them down, you'll earn extra points"

Does this strike you as NOT cool, i would like to see how this is implemented because if it is implemented how i think it is hiding may become hard.

I like the challenge of things like this but in reality it kind of punishes the people who are good in a way.

this is a win win and certainly a sold sticker on it for me.

no doubt fanboy reviews will try to dumb this down when its released, but most ps3 owners wont care, this will be a stunning game. shooter of the year

WOW. A bit small so I reserve my judgment but this seriously looks amazing. The light between the trees is sublime.

Of course neither game has been released but to summarize what seems likely:

R2 had half the development time as K2
R2 will most likely not be postponed (Insomniac doesn't do that normally)
R2 will have cost a fracture of K2
And now it seems like R2 looks at least as good as K2?

Insomniac is definitly a very good developer in 3years they have produced 3 AAA titles for PS3

Resistance 2 graphics looks a lot better than both GTA IV and MGS 4. Only Kill Zone 2 will beat this game for graphics. Kill Zone 2 I believe has been postponed to early 2009. Kill Zone 2 would be in direct competition with Resistance 2. It would be best to delay it then release them both at the same time.
