Especially for sensitive Deguello I've removed all inappropriate stuff from my post.
Deguello said: Can we get a ban on this guy please? kber81's comments clearly aren't appropriate for a website purporting itself to be professional. |

Now that would just be incredibly unfair! I’m partial to Nintendo myself, but from my perspective, kber81 is one of the most objective Sony guys on these boards. On the other hand I see Gballzack continually attacking and insulting people’s character without so much as a warning. |
Being partial to Nintendo doesn't make your favor of someone, who isn't, anymore valid. It's about as moot as someone acting like owning the system gives them the right complain about whatever they want about it and still be considered unbiased.
Kber's comments grow increasingly more condisending in tone every day while mine I like to think mine are at least becoming less abrassive and less frequent, he basically just goes around now taking pot shots at the Wii whenever he gets the chance yet no one calls him on it when I was berated for doing the same to the PS3 when I first arrived. He just placates to whatever anti-Nintendo jargon is popular for the quarter calling Nintendo a kiddy crap console who can't hold adult games is begging for the wrong kind of attention especially without legitimate reasons to back such an opinion. And then for him to admit that the market and numbers (the facts we use to debate with on this forum) don't matter to him that just makes him comments all the more inflamatory and malicious. I may bash the PS3, I may call people fanboys, but hell, at least i offer substance to my claims regardless my bias.
I don't think he needs banned but at the same time people shouldn't take a tone with me for my past discrepencies but then give him a free ticket to say what he wants.
Xyrax said: I think you all took all of these numbers the wrong way. Lets start with HSG This release is actually a RE release of the same HSG thats already out for the PSP in Japan. Same game, but this one has GPS support.....Thats all... Seriously, there is no way anyone should have expected this to sell much. You can likely pick up a much cheaper version of the same game used w/o GPS or you could just buy a new copy of the GPS version for a cheaper dollar figure than this new rerelease. How many people really care about whether or not their version has GPS? |
No, it is not.
This is the first in a planned series where real golf courses are virtualized. In this one, you have 32 real courses from Chiba prefecture in Japan. You can play them virtually on the PSP, or alternatively, play them for real, stick a GPS unit on your PSP, and then use this software as a virtual caddy for the course. In the meantime you can create strategies for holes, analyse more data than you can dream of, and tweak loads of options.
No characters to unlock. No courses to unlock. No tournaments to win. This is simply about golf and improving your game. It is also essentially a sim, and pretty tough too. Putting particularly. Rock solid game though.
It also comes on 2 UMDs.
I expect the reason for the poor sales are because no one knew of its release as I have seen absolutely no ads for this anywhere. Not even a Famitsu review. I'm surprised even 2500 people knew about it.
PS This forum sucks.

Gballzack said: Since no one knows what RE5 graphics are, we can't assume whether its for the Wii or not. We've only seen a demo video made before the game engine or any of the game development began. The Wii is a long distance runner, not a sprinter, it the games sales in the long run that determines its success, not its initial burst. By your logic, the PS3 has sold the most consoles because of its first week sales. |
We know that it will be really good graphis 360/PS3 graphics, we know this...
They're not suddenly gonna go completely away from their target screens and vidoes.
Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!
All they've shown are pre-rendered cut scenes made before the game engine was even set in development. How can you even pretend to know what its going to look like?

Are you that stupid? No, it will look like prince of persia... Are you for real? What are you trying to say? All RE's so far looked great. If you have nothing to say just don't say anything.
Mods - Kick this asshat out.

Doubt it, have you seen the RE 5 graphics? They are not Wii graphics. They are going with spinoffs for the Wii.  Namco, Square and Capcom are doing spinoffs of their big games on the Wii and keeping the big franchises still on 360/PS3. |
Doesn't matter. Devs are going to put a title on the platform they'll generate the most sales on. If RE4 znd UC do Well then you can bet they will be looking to put RE5 on the Wii. Especially if Wii continues to dominate Japan.
LOL @ fanboy fights.
kber uses baseless insults like asshat (ROFL) and swear words.
While Gballzack uses insanity fueled rationalism - of course no one has seen the engine for RE5 but it is likely to look very good... duh
I'm not neither side but you both look like idiots.
