That's right Mummelmann, it is. I think some people underestimate the price difference between the two consoles. I think the prices can dictate where much of the others loyalty is. Ministaff think this is bad for PS3.......if he wants to imagine BAD, he should imagine what these numbers would have been like if the PS3 and Wii were at the same price point.

If the Ps3 were the same price as a Wii, it wouldnt have Blu Ray, TEH CELL! or anything else that gives it an edge technologically speaking. So it would be an upgraded Ps2, with the same drought of exclusives as now.

So I agree, if they were the same price, it would be BAD.

they had 2 massive titles that came out last week and 3 weeks ago. and the fact that it sold like over 2 million copies world wide in one week sort of implies that it will sell alot of hardware that week. who knows the next game that will sell this well. gta 5 maybe?

the nintendo wii will outsell the ps3 and the 360 combined by the end of 2008.

PS3 will out sell the 360 june 2010.

GOTY of 2008 is super smash brothers brawl.... hopefully.

You give Wii fans a bad name. And then you wonder why PS3 and 360 fans go all crazy? Please.

Last generation, the PS2 had an incredibly high market share in Europe/Others and Japan, upwards of 75%, though in the Americas it only managed around 60% market share, showing that in America people were probably more willing to own a second console (or more able to...). I believe that Europe/Others will become sort of like this.
