Amp316 is not racing hard with RoL. Amp316 waits for a blue shell. Thats the only way he gets 1st.

Why not just try to get far enough ahead like I do.

I have won 2-3 Yoshi Falls despite a blue shell... I have lost 2-3 because of a blue shell, and the rest I either won without a shell, or didn't win and wasn't concentrating on whether others got shells.

I don't like Yoshi Falls either. I won that one and was waiting for the blue shell. I got lucky. You picked Grumble Volcano for some inexplicable reason. Every time I'm on that course I have an item flying at me approximately every half second.

I seem to get that on Bowsers castle of late (and that includes playing versus against the CPU only). And I always get too much stick on GBA koopa beach thing, but it might be partly because I really fail at that track too.

I think the Yoshi Falls problem might be that it's a short track, so getting a sizable lead is difficult, but it's also long enough for one of the back-runners to have a chance at a blue shell.

Mushroom Gorge is the one that makes me the most angry to be honest. If someone hits the lightning in the right spot you can go from first to last.
