Be sure you do it. I was hesitant about it at first, but I finally decided to send it in. I didn't have the game for about a wekk and a half, but then the re-mastered disc came in the mail...much sooner than expected. Today I got an extra surprise. RedOctane sent me a free face plate (a $15 value) for my trouble. Now that I think about it, I'm sure this is old news, but if you didn't know about it already, now you do.

Oh yeah I keep forgetting to do this. Where do I find the information on this deal? What do I send in exactly?

Send that stuff even if only for a matter of principle. Let their mistake hurt their pockets, it's the only way they'll learn to test properly next time.

If the company I work at released software with such faults to the market, not only would our pockets be hurt, our credibility would suffer immensely too.

I went of the website and told them my info at the beginning of March Break. I received the paperwork stuff and the package to send everything back in at the start of April. Then probably a week and a half a go I got a delivery from activison. I figured I got the game back already, but I opened it up and saw the faceplate and a note saying "you recently recieved a ghiii:LoR wii replacement disk.." even though I did have it yet. Figured the game was still coming.. a few days later I had recieved the final copy.

So in probably just under 5 weeks time I got the "remastered disk" and a free face plate... Wewt :p

i sent mine in, they're actually pretty efficient about it. of course, i timed it so that i sent it in before i went on my 5 week vacation :)

They'll send you an envelope about four or five days later, and get your game back to you a week or two after that. You'll get the faceplate a few days after that. I got the Phoenix faceplate. It's awesome.

Thanks for the link noname. Previously I was too lazy to go about finding it, but your linking skills came through for me. I registered and will get my new disc/faceplate, AND stick it to The Man.
