Forums - Website Topics - Can we get a designated area on the Front page for Friend Codes?

Who would love to see an area on the site dedicated to Friend codes?  It is hard to keep up with the threads that talk about them, and I think it would be great to have an area where we could all go and add friends.  I am not sure the best way to do it and maybe we could hear some ideas to get this done.

I'd be all for that--it could just be a list that anyone could add to, and then when someone tells someone else to add them, all they need to do is look at the list to find the code

I don't like the idea of having this on the front page. There is already a sticky for this topic in the Nintendo Discussion.

Or you could use the thread in Nintendo Discussion forum.

Would it be possible to create a thread that could be added to by anyone, but only modified by a moderator? Sorta like how there's that application in google apps that lets you modify documents together and you can see a list of who made changes to what.

It'd probably be way to complex to arrange though.

Seppukuties is like LBP Lite, on crack. Play it already!

I'd like it more if we could just put that information in our profile, though that would be hard since Wii games each have their own code. -_-

It does not have to be the whole list on the main page, just a link to the lists. A link to a separate page that only allows members of the site to add to the list. I know the threads are there, but it is hard to keep them up to date and hard to find people in those threads.

That is my thought twestern, there are too many games to keep adding to my profile. I would just love a central place for us all to be able to go to.

Unless they plan to have a link for Live Gamertags, PSN IDs, and PC player tags then I say no. This is suppose to be a non bias data site and doing so would show favoritism to one particular platform than another. Unless something has changed, best keep it in their respected forums.

I'm just saying...

@RPGJock: Yes and no. MS and Sony, in commendable fashion, all have a single, unifying ID across all games. You can just keep one name in your profile, and anyone who wants to play any game with you on that system can simply add that name. However, since Wii and DS have different codes for each game, it's quite cumbersome to do that with Nintendo games.
