Forums - Gaming - GTA IV NY Quick Facts

I decided since I live in NYC I would point out things in New York that are in the game but probably not noticeable to any one unless you live in or work in NY.

Jizzy Jims store front is a knockoff of a regional store called Jimmy Jazz

The East Borough Bridge is the Triborugh Bride. The toll is $10 not $5 like in the game.

Most of Bohan is the Hunts Point Area of the Bronx. (Prime area for Prostitute)

The Strip Club that is in the game is a knockoff of one called Sin City located in the Bronx.

I will post more factoids as I come along them.

Now Playing: Crysis 2

Last Finished: BulletStorm

Online IDs: PSN: computermaximus, XBL: computermaximus

Also, the Little Bay area (with the tall buildings, near the strip club) is a knockoff of an area of the Bronx called Co-Op City.

there is no Yankee Stadium correct?

yeah, cool that it's almost similar to the actual thing

Too bad I live faaaaarrrr away :)

GTA games remind me what the streets in America are like. USA is a very dangerous place to live of what I have been told, especially cities like: LA, New York, Chicago and Detroit, there are "no go areas".

Those are scurrilous lies and slanders upon my country sir!

Well, you may have a point about Detroit....
