When I lived in Dallas everyone knew that Harry Hines Blvd. was the best place to get a Hooker. Back then I was only 14. Word travels in certain circles whether you participate or not.

The Strip Club that is in the game is a knockoff of one called Sin City located in the Bronx.

Living in NYC for over 25 years, I am fortunate (or rather unfortunate - depends on your perspectives on things), to have never had to pass through Hunts Point (at least to the best of my recollection). However, its active prostitution industry is very well known, especially since it was covered very thoroughly in numerous HBO documentaries.
