I predict that Nintendo will announce they will be leaving the console business and discontinue the Wii. Furthermore, they will also announce that they will develop for the Playstation 3 exclusively due to the awesomeness of Blu-ray.

I'm not expecting much since Nintendo tends to dissapoint me with their news at conventions. With low expectations i can be more pleased when they actually do reveal some good new stuff

I did?, maybe I'm just going crazy.
I think I did one on what Miyamoto said about E3.
Consoles LTD, end 2009, end 2010 - prediction
Wii - 68 million, 90 million - Wii HD in late 2011 - $249
360 - 38 million, 47 million - 720 in late 2010 - $299
PS3 - 31 million, 43 million - slim PS3 in mid 2009 - $299
Not this 1st party game coming to E3 scenario again... There are too many 1st party Ips that Nintendo have done in these past 2 years I think even Nintendo feel tired of it. Do you even know Miyamoto created Wii Fit instead of Legend of Zelda for the Wii? Thats right, Zelda on the Wii was supposed to be in Wii Fit's place, but Nintendo wants to create new so they invented Wii fit.
I think this E3 will be when 3rd party developers/publishers to shine. Iwata even said in Q&A interview that there are more games on the Wii that arent announced yet that will shown on E3, so not all of those games are just 1st party titles.
So Im posting here for 3rd party's sake this time. I think Capcom, SEGA, Square Enix and Namco will show games that is unannounced that blow the gamers away. I think new Ips asides from their established Ips.
Though I think Capcom will creating the continuatiuon of Megaman X and Rockman EXE series for the Wii. Or Onimusha series for the Wii, after Onimusha IV Capcom didnt revive the series I think they will revive this for the Wii.
Square Enix will revive Parasite Eve for the Wii this is a old IP, the last of this series was during the Playstation era. I think its good for Square Enix to revive this game to reboot the gamers on this great game. The Wii have no established survival horror title yet so this is a good opportunity to do it.
Namco will port Time Crisis 4 and other light gun arcades for the Wii, since the Wii was too popular for this kind of genre. And Namco will develop a fighting game similar to Soul Calibur, since HD consoles have one so is the Wii. OR create a new fighting game from the ground up, this fighting game title will not be released till 2009 but its worth it.
SEGA will revive all of their forgotten IPs and characters for the Wii, since SEGA have good profits on the Wii with their games, its safe to risk it and revive all of the IPs and characters on the Wii. Shenmue will be developed and we never seen it 2 years from now but it will show a teaser on E3, after all, even a small time developer like High Voltage created a good engine for the Wii, so why not SEGA.
end of core gaming days prediction:
E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced
E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.
E3 2010- Tape runs out

I'm positive we'll see Animal Crossing Wii, which I am also convinced was the game Reggie was talking about when he said "We've got a game that everyone will want for the holidays". I also think we'll see Wii Music, and I think there's a high chance that Factor5 are in fact making a Kid Icarus for the Wii, and will showcase it at E3.
I personally hope for Star Fox and F-Zero for the Wii, but Nintendo tend to disappoint me, so. I'd also like to see Zelda Wii, which I admit is possible, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it likely.
Nintendo is probably releasing one big first party "gamer's game" later this year, and possibly a few smaller ones. I'm guessing the big one will be either Pikmin 3, or a resurrection of an ancient franchise like Kid Icarus.
