I just beat FF VI yesterday, finally. I started the game in september, during my holidays in the tuscany in italy. After that holiday I had to start studying for my graduation exams, so I hardly had time to play anymore. During my graduation exams, Mario Galaxy was released and all the time I found for gaming was spent for that game, and after Christmas I started working and later I had to go to military service, so I could play FF VI very rarely.

However, I kept playing it although I had little time and yesterday I finally went to the final dungeon to beat Kefka. The game was amazing although it slows really down after the old world is destroyed, and recollecting your party members sucks imo. Anyways, it's an awesome RPG.

Gotta agree. That recollecting part is actuallly when I stopped playing the game. Couldnt stand that guy in that cult dancing in the line, ignoring me anymore. So I gave up.

OT: I just beat Elite Beat Agents!!!!! on easy mode.....and then on medium difficulty. now working on hard mode, but somehow Jamiroquai is killing me. Either his rythm or mine aint right.....

I got 120 stars in Galaxy, and there's no way I'm starting over to get 240. I don't know about these other 2 I keep hearing about though. I loved the harder levels towards the end, but I might never play the game again. I very rarely return to single player games without randomized dungeons or level editors.

MGS4. Ninja Gaiden is coming tomorrow. We'll see if I have the patience to beat it.

I started on Warrior ("normal" difficulty, which is actually "goddammit, where's my gun, I want to shoot my TV" difficulty) and got to chapter 10 or 11. Then my brother started over on Acolyte (easiest) difficulty, and we flew through it after the practice we had on "Fuck-You-Explosive-Shuriken-Throwing-Ninja!!!" difficulty. I'd recommend beating a few boards on Warrior to get you used to the controls and make you work a little at it, but Acolyte is definitely the way to go if you want to see what the "story" (term used INCREDIBLY loosely) has to offer.

I'd go back and finish the last handful of chapters on Warrior, but I've found slamming my dick in a car door has the same effect and saves me time.

The dedication you show to any particular console or company is inversely proportional to the number of times you have gotten laid. If you get laid enough, even if you prefer a certain brand, you just don't give enough of a shit to argue about it on the internet.

Just beat MGS4

Good to know. While I appreciate the fact that Battletoads/Kid Icarus/TMNT games still exist, I already suffered through that shit when I was a kid. I don't need that anymore.

Or check out my new webcomic: http://selfcentent.com/

If anybody comes in here and posts "I just beat Battletoads" I'll probably shit out a Battletoad. I made it to the last level 2 or 3 times a few years ago when I had a masochistic streak.
