And I recently got a job at GameStop. How long have you been working there?

Since the last week of November 2007 so almost 6 months it really doesn't seem like its been that long but they're talking about training me to be an SGA. It's a good place to work for not as bad as what everyone says it is. So how are you liking it so far?

I've only worked two days so far (Saturday afternoon and the GTAIV midnight launch), but it's been good so far. We're opening up a new store, so the new manager hired 5 guys to train at another store in the mean time, and he's testing us out to see who he'll keep. He's going to keep only three of us, but the manager and I get along great, so it seems like I'll be one of the ones that stays.

And GameStop isn't so bad, so long as there are intelligent, upstanding, knowledgable gamers such as you and I working there. :P

Yeah the whole team at my store is pretty much on the ball they know their stuff, I wouldn't have applied if I was going to work with idiots lol, there's only a couple of people that could be cut *cough* my manager *cough* cause their ethics are crap and they don't game very much, but they're looking for a replacement for him anyway so it's not a big deal. My hours are crap this week due to finals all last week and I was so out of it that I didn't get my usual sales combined with the usual after christmas slump but it's not a big deal as I would like to have a week to myself to relax haha.

After Christmas slump? Lol, you're a few months late, no?

The manager at the store I'm training at seems like a total douch, imo, but the manager for the new store a pretty cool guy.
