The DVD is at most places taking preorders, I've seen it at GameStop, Target & Best Buy.

I think they should sell Wii fit at Mcdonalds, that way all the obese people can enjoy the best of both worlds.

Wii fit will have very impressive legs, and will sell alot of hardware, no-one is denying that (i assume)

The only question is, those people who buy a wii, and wii fit. Will they buy more games?

I suspect that wiifit will ensure that wiiplay's legs remain strong, as for many people that would be the next step.

The real question is how many Wii's does Nintendo have squirreled away for Wii Fit's NA launch. There's none on the shelves now, so opening a new market is totally useless if you can't supply them.

If they create huge interest but have no supply then by the time production is increased (if it wasn't already) it may be too late as interest may have already waned.

They'd better have a million units on hand for Wii Fit's launch and a much larger weekly supply than what we're seeing now or all this will all be a massive lost oppurtunity.

Can I just walk in and grab the DVD? I don't want to give them any money for anything.

You know, you can probably just youtube the video instead of going out and getting the dvd? And I'm sure Nintendo has a planeload of Wiis stocked up in the states. Look at this weeks number. Its too low, and you know what usually happens with wii numbers. It'll skyrocket with the Wii fit launch.

I too wonder whether WiiFit users will ever buy games, but it's likely they might get into games like Tiger Woods, where the game is still pretty simple, but offers more than just WiiSports, since Tiger Woods will have more clubs, more courses, etc. My dad and mother, who are interested in the Wii and WiiFit would like to get a Tiger Woods and probably Endless Ocean. So they'll probably buy a few, and it'll add up. Just like blu-ray users who buy the PS3 simply for blu-ray will probably a few games. Not a lot maybe, but some.

You can tell. The biggest-selling game of 2008 will be Wii Fit. Its already dominated Japan and look at the huge debut in Others. There is no escaping Wii Fit!
