The real question is how many Wii's does Nintendo have squirreled away for Wii Fit's NA launch. There's none on the shelves now, so opening a new market is totally useless if you can't supply them.
If they create huge interest but have no supply then by the time production is increased (if it wasn't already) it may be too late as interest may have already waned.
They'd better have a million units on hand for Wii Fit's launch and a much larger weekly supply than what we're seeing now or all this will all be a massive lost oppurtunity.
