I don't recall many retail chains proclaiming they were to receive the largest shipment ever for PS3/X360....just Wii.

Probably from Nintendo's promise of the largest non-holiday shipment to NA is happening this week. I am interested in seeing how this weeks sales play out. Nothing is going to move consoles like GTA4, but how will it stack up against backed up demand for the Wii plus Mario Kart hitting? This week is going to be a bit of a wildcard for who is on top I think. I would guess either 360 or PS3, but I would not bet against the Wii either.

 Must be a shame to be confident enough to say that I can walk into a store and able to pick up the console I want, no? 

 After all, not able to have quantity supplied match with quantity demanded is just every manufacture's dream.

Yup, the RROD  has finally started to make an impact on buyers decisions.

Also when looking towards the future games, PS3 wins by a long shot. 

It's sure going to be an interesting week next week - possibly the most interesting week till the Winter holidays.
