I remember hearing rumors of AC becoming an MMO a while back. I also remember Nintendo announcing upcoming games that requires "pay to play" online gaming.

The only thing I can see Nintendo making us pay for is a possible online market to sell products on. And maybe buying items with real money. I doubt they'll make us pay to access our friends towns.

I still haven't understood what kind of game AC is or what the gameplay is. When I posted a statement to this effect in a different forum someone answered: He played animal crossing for 2 years and he doesn't know either. lol

Well, there's animals and furniture and bugs, some asshole named Tom Nook, and it steals your soul. This is all I've been able to gather without playing it.

 That guy gave a surprisingly honest answer. Animal Crossing is like...well, you see, it's similar to...if you ignore a lot of things it's kinda sorta like the Sims, with some Harvest Moon mixed in, but...oh screw it. I quit.
