As I find myself with less time than ever before to play video games, I find it interesting that this generation has been one of the best. I've really had a lot of fun with the games I've played so far and I'm really looking forward to the rest of the year, and the years after this.

In fact, 5 of my top 20 games are Wii games. And Super Mario Galaxy is number 2 on that chart (only being beat out by Sonic and Knuckles ). I dunno why, but my taste in video games has become a bit more open for fun this time around. I've had a blast playing Wii Sports with my family and making a fool of myself waving my arms around in Rayman Raving Rabbids. Good times indeed.

And now I need to get my grubby paws on Mario Kart Wii, Okami, and Boom Blox. Too bad my pockets are vacant.

On the contrary. I think that when all is said and done this generation will be remembered as one of the greatest gens of all time.

I have a Wii and already I think it's one of the best consoles ever made. It's revolutionized gaming, brought in people who've never gamed before and led to a new standard of fun. So To me it's already equaled previous gens, and that's only a fragment of what's out there. While the Wii has taken one direction, the 360 and PS3 have taken another direction, offering the most advanced, beautiful and deep games ever seen with an incredibly strong online component.

You put those two halves of this gen together and we have the golden age of gaming.

The Hell? You're already comparing this gen to things like the SNES era? I got one thing to tell you: we're not even two years into this game.

As for me, I'm beyond happy. Dead Rising, Gears of War, Super Mario Galaxy, Zack & Wiki, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, SSBB, Mario Kart Wii, Uncharted, many more I don't feel like listing, and many many more to come.

So no, I'm not unimpressed.

For me this is the best gen, but of course thats just me.

My reason is I'm 16 now (14 when I got PS3), and I'm actually old enough to enjoy good games and such and know whats going on.

I had no idea what a PS1 was until 1997 when my dad bought one. We got PS2 in 2000 or 2001 and I had no idea it was out yet.

but this gen I followed the release of PS3 and its games closely. So this is my most enjoyable generation of games.

Two years ago I was kind of dissapointed but then there was only the X360.
One year ago I was totally dissapointed PS3 was not worth my money and the Wii looked like a waste of my time and money.

This changed though in the last year....Especially because a lot of my games that I love.

SMG, COD4, Bioshock, Uncharted, R&C, No more Heroes, and now GTAIV.

I would not say "I m impressed" since I dont have any current gen console.

Whatever, it is hard to impress me. There are always some flaws that make me think a game could have been better.

But, neverthless, I believe this gen will be amazing, a lot better than the PS2 area.

Of all the systems I've bought so far this generation, I haven't felt ripped by a single one. Can't say the same about the last (GBA, Xbox).

And that makes it the best generation so far.
