I'm not sure if PS3 will get ahead of Xbox360, well see int he couple of weeks, because X360 will more likely get a bigger boost in HW than PS3, especially in Europe, for the sole reason of being able to run a pirated copy of GTAIV. Plus, no killzone 2 and new FF before 2009.

It's very hard to tell, but i simply think that MS still has more manevaouring space regarding pricecuts than Sony, R&D costs for PS3 were massive, and it still hasn't taken off, while MS took cheaper aproach in R&D, and would probbly loose less money with yet another price cut. If they fully sort the reliability problem out, i think they're going to be on a winning streak.

 Wii should do well in China hardware wise, but poor softwar sales, China values pirate-friendly stuff. But they have nothing to loose, it's better to sell million of hardware  (if you don't loose money on it, and N doesn't), than to sell nothing at all.

What is the Wii's advantage that the PS3, being at $299.99, could steal? Are you talking about the motion controls?

I would tend to agree with you, except I think you're high ending the 360. It's been out for a little more than two years, probably close to 2.5 years, so it's averaging 7.5 million a year or so. I doubt it's going to increase enough over the next 3 years to average 10 million a year. Wii is probably a bit high, I would have gone with your 26 million, and I think PS3 is pretty much spot on (I might lower it a bit).

OT: When you say "in three years" I suppose you mean late April 2011 sales. Well... I'm not sure what it'll be at that time, but I'll take a shot at end of 2011 sales:

Wii: 108 million
PS3: 50 million
360: 36 million
