I had a GB player...it was pretty cool, but I didn't use it that much...shame. GBA was basically an SNES, so it was like having an SNES, only squished under your GC.

Yeah, Nintendo favored the Gamecube's Gameboy player more than its Internet capabilities. Not to say that the Gameboy player was bad, because it was pretty awesome, but if Nintendo focused more on the Gamecube's internet capabilties, the Gamecube would have done better.

That is actualy something I think is pure bullshit. They didn't have the money Microsoft throwed away and they was no different than PS2 therefore they failed. It is simple as that. Internet didn't have anything to do with it.

You're right. It is bull shit. I just mentioned it because I found the information in a few websites. Thought others would be interested, not upset. You didn't have to say "bullshit" though. You should have left that word for a post that truly deserved it.

The thing is that "internet" is everything mantra has been going on webpages for ages. I must say that I feel that it is odd because even whit the superior internet service the xbox line delivered it has hard time selling. The truth is that still today the mass market doesn't play that much games online.

 Most players still play only single player games, I rarely play online games. I think the shooter is the best genre for online multiplayer or the mmo. I'm not a massive shooter fan (I like some) and I am not playing an MMO right now so almost no online multiplayer for me...
