It's strange all these perfect reviews. Are UK or US reviewers not objectives?

Here a french review which give only 18/20 for the title for both versions:

100% on the PS3 after 15 reviews is just insane.

It will most certainly drop, but I could see it leveling off at maybe 95-96 making it once of the highest scored games this gen so far.

I purchased an Xbox 360 this weekend (it only locked up once so far), so perhaps I'll have to give GTA4 a try when I get around to it.

I dont understand why youd make this thread when I have a thread that includes everything in here and more? with 100+ replies? guess its to be expected for game release day, tons of same topic threads :D

So far on www.metacritic.com.
PS3: 13 out 15 reviewers award perfect scores for an average of 99.8%.
XBox 360: 16 out of 25 reviewers award perfect scores for an average of 99.1%.

In the March issue of "Jeux Video Magazine" in France,  they made the cover page on "Why is the Wii a rip-ff and will fail". inside, over 20 pages of wii bashing. But ALSO interesting insights on developpers and key industry players saying they "prayed that PS3 will ultimately prevail over wii" to safeguard their own interests.

Similarly to EA selling less on wii than PS2, and even PS3 and XBOX 360, other established developers want 

the status quo to remain  

I bet you wii owners are also underrepresented in such magazines readerships.

This is a fight for survival for many incumbents in the industry and it will be a challenge for nintendo. 


I also agree. There was a lot of developer and publisher money put into PS3 and 360. With Wii coming out in front, it really hurts those companies. There has been a huge flux of anti-Wii action lately all across the board. I have been of the belief that certain companies may have a hand in that. It sucks to think that way, because this is a day in age where that should not be necessary, but you know what, it could very well still be a reality.

At any rate, I am the biggest hater of OoT so I just hope anything takes the place of that game. How Super Smash Bros. Brawl did not take the place is still something that puzzles me. I mean, most any gamer that has played the two will say they have gotten much more out of Brawl than just about any game ever made. Could the same claim be made about GTA IV? We are going to have to wait and see.
